My aunt and uncle own a beach house in Tybee Beach in Georgia. We go there once a year, and it is very fun. They have a big front porch, and this year they have an elevator. We invited our friends the Davisons.
On the way there, we would drive by lots and lots of gas stations, and I also saw a Subway, which made me hungry, but we were going to order pizza instead. When we got there, we saw the elevator, loaded our stuff into it, and got to the top. We went inside, and later we went to bed.
The next morning we woke up and went to the lighthouse and went to the lighthouse museums. That day we saw a pirate parade. It was fun. They threw us candy and necklaces, and a pirate showed us a glass gun. We ate dinner and went to bed.
The next day, we went into downtown Savannah, ate lunch there, and went back to the beach house. And then we went out to eat dinner and saw a band there. We went to bed and woke up the next day.
Then we went to the beach. After the beach, we got home, rinsed off, and the Davisons left back to Charleston. We woke up the next day and went home.
It was fun at Tybee, but I am glad we are back at home here in Charleston. It will always be home.
