Odd Squad - Chapter 4

     Once they realized that the gum wrapper was the Shape Shifter, the Shape Shifter told Olive and Otto, “Nice work finding me.  Now I’m going to turn into your greatest fear, Olive.  Pie.”  Her head turned into a pie, and she ran off, and Olive screamed.  

     Otto asked Olive, “Is your greatest fear pie?”  Olive replied, “Yeah, it’s a long story.  Let’s go get the Shape Shifter.”  They ran into a warehouse.  They had no idea what the Shape Shifter had turned into and where she was.  Olive said, “Wait!  We have to pick up everything, and if we can’t pick it up, it’s the Shape Shifter.”  Otto said, “Wait, we have to pick up everything in this warehouse?”  Olive said, “I guess we have to.”  Otto said, “I’ll do it,” in a firm voice.  Olive said, “Why will you do it?”  Otto said, “Because I’m definitely not going to be a trash collector.”  

     They started weighing things.  They picked up a basketball, a birdcage, and almost everything they could find, but then Olive tried to pick up a feather, and she couldn’t.  Olive said, “This must be the Shape Shifter,” and used her revealinator gadget to see if it was the Shape Shifter, and it was!  

Odd Squad - Chapter 3

     When they had lost sight of the Shape Shifter, Otto said, “What am I going to do now? Odd Squad is going to fire me!  What will I do for a job?  I could be a doctor or a fire fighter or a policeman.”  He looked down and saw a piece of trash and said, “or I could be a trash collector!”  He tried to pick up the piece of trash.  He could not pick up the gum wrapper.  He said, “Ugh! I’ll never be a trash collector!” And Olive said, “Wait! Gum wrappers aren’t heavy, they are supposed to be really light. That can’t be a gum wrapper.”  

     Olive wanted to know what the gum wrapper really was.  She used her Revealinator gadget. The gum wrapper was the Shape Shifter!

Odd Squad Chapter 2

     Once they noticed that it was the Shape Shifter, they chased after her.  Before the Shape Shifter took off, she made a big growl. The Shape Shifter was not happy that Odd Squad had figured out that it was her. They took off!  Olive told Otto, “Meet the Shape Shifter.”  Otto said, “So you can turn into a car, a sword, a rocket?”  The Shape Shifter said, “Great idea.  I’m a rocket!”  After she said that, she turned into a rocket.  Olive and Otto ran after the rocket.   They lost sight of the Shape Shifter.  What should Olive and Otto do now?

Odd Squad - Chapter 1

     In the TV show "Odd Squad," the main characters are people named Miss O., Olive, Oscar, and Otto.  Olive and Otto are agents of Odd Squad.  Oscar is a scientist who builds and fixes gadgets.  Miss O. is the owner of the Odd Squad.  Oscar, Miss O., Otto, and Olive are not the only people who work in the Odd Squad.  There also is O'Malley and O'Donaque and Olivia and Obfusco.
     The Odd Squad is a group of agents who go out and solve odd cases.  They don't have cars.  They don't have motorcycles.   They don't have bikes.  They have tubes.  The tube squishes you inside a little ball and sends you anywhere in the world.  There are 4 tubes in the Odd Squad headquarters.  You ride for five minutes underground in a tube.
     Olive and Otto went in tubes 3 and 4 and got sent to the park to pick up a briefcase.  They met the person who was going to take the briefcase, but what they didn't know was that it was the Shape Shifter.  The Shape Shifter is an Odd Squad villain.  The Shape Shifter can turn into anything.  The person who was going to pick up the brief case wasn't acting like they normally would act.  Olive and Otto used their gadget number 54 to see who the person really was.  The gadget shows who the person really is.  It was the Shape Shifter!

My Favorite Toy

     Eli: Eli reporting here!  Today I am going to talk about LEGOs! Oh, I remember I went to Legoland, and I remember all the fun rides I did.  It was pretty fun and cool there.  Oh, and U saw a giant Lego elephant.  Animals are pretty cool too. 

     Miles: Eli!  You were talking about LEGOs!

     Eli: Oh yeah.  Sorry.  LEGOs are one of my favorite toys.  Oh!  And remote-control cars!

     Miles: Eli!  Stay focused on LEGOs!

     Eli: Sorry.  Again.  As I was saying, LEGOs are one of my favorite toys, and I got a LEGO Star Wars Starship for Christmas.  Star Wars is pretty cool too, but Star Wars is not as cool as L-E-G-Os.  And that completes my speech.
